  • Treatment

The treatment a chiropractor uses is termed joint manipulation or "adjustment".  This treatment involves a very quick, precise and safe amount of pressure applied to the specific joint levels in your spine that are causing your symptoms.  As this pressure is applied, the joints are momentarily separated within the anatomical limits of the joint.  At this point we may hear a "pop" which is simply the conversion of chemicals in a liquid state changing to a gas.  Just as if you were opening a bottle of champagne!

Not only do chiropractors treat disorders of the spine, we also treat various injuries to the extremities.  Depending on the chiropractor and his or her specialities, other techniques besides chiropractic manipulation may be utilized to treat sports related injuries, work related injuries, Motor Vehicle related injuries, maternity care including prenatal chiropractic care, pediatric care and geriatric care.

At MMD Chiropractic Health Centre, a variety of techniques will be utilized to precisely diagnose, treat and offer you options of comfort for your specific health care concern.
